Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and AI voice receptionist services provided by Your Dream Employee ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Services" means the AI voice receptionist, call handling, lead qualification, appointment scheduling and related features we provide.
- "You" means the business or individual entering into these Terms to use our Services.
- "Website" means yourdreamemployee.ai and any associated subdomains.
- "Customer Data" means any information you or your callers provide to us in connection with the Services.
2. Eligibility & Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and, where you act on behalf of a business, have the authority to bind that business to these Terms. By using the Services you represent that you are a UK-based or UK-trading business and that the information you provide to us is accurate and current.
3. Use of the Services
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for the duration of your active subscription and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any UK law;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise derive the source code of our software;
- Use the Services to transmit unsolicited marketing calls, recordings or messages in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR);
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Services or the infrastructure used to provide them;
- Use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair them.
4. Your Account & Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at cs@yourdreamemployee.ai of any unauthorised use or security breach.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the call-handling configuration, scheduling rules and business information you supply to the Services, and for ensuring that call recordings and transcripts are handled in accordance with applicable UK law.
5. Fees, Billing & Payment
Fees for the Services are as set out on our pricing page or in any order form you sign. Unless otherwise stated, fees are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and exclusive of VAT, which will be added where applicable.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until your subscription is cancelled. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for all amounts due.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at cs@yourdreamemployee.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and no further charges will be made.
Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Where a free trial or demo is offered, no charge is made during that trial period.
7. Acceptable Use & Call Recording
Where the Services record or transcribe telephone calls, you are responsible for complying with PECR and the UK GDPR, including obtaining any necessary consent from callers and notifying them that a call may be recorded. We provide tools to support compliance, but the legal responsibility for notification and consent rests with you.
8. Intellectual Property
We retain all right, title and interest in the Services, our website, our branding, and all related intellectual property. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks, trade names or logos except as expressly permitted in writing.
You retain all rights in your Customer Data. You grant us a limited licence to use your Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services to you.
9. Your Data & Privacy
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Statement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Service Availability & Disclaimer
We aim to provide reliable, high-availability Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.
The calculator and other tools on our website provide estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee of revenue or results. Actual outcomes depend on your call volume, close rate and other business factors.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or data, arising out of or in connection with the Services.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amounts you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
13. Changes to the Services & Terms
We may update or modify the Services from time to time. We may also revise these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified to you by email. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, and you may be billed for amounts already due.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
